Roman Cherkasov

Roman Cherkasov has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Roman currently holds the position of Vice President of Engineering at Kaseya since August 2023. Prior to that, Roman worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Engineering Leader from May 2022 to August 2023. Before their stint at AWS, they served as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley for over a decade, starting from July 2011 until May 2022. Roman also worked at JPMorganChase as a Vice President from June 2007 to July 2011, and at Deutsche Bank as an AVP from July 2005 to June 2007. Earlier in their career, they held various technical roles, including Senior Software Developer at Siemens from 2002 to 2005, Consultant at BMW from 2001 to 2002, Software Developer at Moneyline Telerate from 2000 to 2001, and Software Engineer at Creative Systems Design Inc from April 1999 to May 2000.

Roman Cherkasov obtained a Certificate in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business from 2006 to 2008. Prior to this, they earned a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Belarusian State University, where they studied from 1993 to 1998.
