Nasser Almawash

Nasser Almawash currently serves as SOC Manager for Kaspersky, managing a team to deliver Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services in Saudi Arabia and globally since May 2023. Previously, Nasser held the position of SOC Manager at the National Center for Government Resources Systems, where a Security Operations Center was built from inception, including the initiation of 24/7 monitoring services and overseeing the hiring and training of 17 SOC analysts. Experience also includes a Cyber Security Engineer role at the National Cybersecurity Authority, managing incident response and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, and positions at Accenture and Symantec, providing incident response and technical support. Nasser's career began with a cybersecurity apprenticeship at Juniper Networks, after which a self-employed technical support role was undertaken. Nasser holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Valparaiso University.
