Duncan Koss

Duncan Koss has a diverse work experience in various industries. Duncan worked as a Software Developer at Katalyst Interactive Inc. from 2023 to the present. Prior to that, they were a Software Developer at Meta from 2018 to 2022, specializing in mobile performance engineering and backend development for Facebook Events.

In 2020, Duncan served as the Chief Technology Officer at STFH Data Consortium, where they led the design and implementation of a data processing system for collecting survey data from COVID patients. Duncan also interviewed volunteer developers and collaborated with external partners to ensure technical integration and compliance with HIPA and the GDPR.

Before moving to Meta, Duncan worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer from 2012 to 2018. Duncan also had a contract role as a Developer at Mobileyes Solutions Inc. from 2011 to 2012.

To begin their career, Duncan worked as a Technician at Marcomm Fiber Optics from 2009 to 2010. Duncan then transitioned to a role as IT Services Support Staff at Queen's University from 2007 to 2009.

Duncan Koss completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University. Duncan attended the university from 2006 to 2012.
