Maria Saviste

Maria Saviste has a background in customer experience, market research, and user research. Maria worked as a Customer Experience and Market Researcher at Katana Cloud Manufacturing starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they were a User Researcher at Whereby from February 2021 to April 2022. Maria also worked as a Product Researcher at Pipedrive from February 2020 to February 2021, and as a UX Researcher at Telia Company from July 2019 to February 2020. Maria had a role as the Head of Research and Development Office at Estonian Academy of Arts from November 2015 to July 2019. Additionally, they worked as an Interaction Designer at Spaceit Ltd. from June 2018 to January 2019. Maria's earlier experiences include being a Senior Communication Specialist at Tallinn University from January 2015 to November 2015, and a Chief Project Manager at Tallinn University from January 2014 to December 2014.

Maria Saviste has a strong background in the field of art history and visual culture. Maria completed their Bachelor's degree at the Estonian Academy of Arts from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a higher level of education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in the same field from 2008 to 2012. Maria further continued their academic journey at the Estonian Academy of Arts and completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Art history and visual culture from 2012 to 2018. In 2018, Maria proceeded to focus on Interaction Design and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in this area at the Estonian Academy of Arts.
