Sunish Shingare has a diverse background in software engineering and technical project management. Sunish began their career in 1997 as a Project Engineer at Larsen & Toubro Limited. From there, they worked as a Project Engineer at Tech Mahindra from 1999 to 2000.
In 2000, Sunish joined Wipro Technologies, where they held various technical leadership roles. As a Technical Lead, they contributed to projects for Apple, including developing an internal portal and a custom Content Management System. Sunish also served as a Technical Lead for the Clinical Digital Project Olympus ITA, working on projects related to pathology slide scanning and remote pathology. Additionally, they contributed as a Technical Lead for the Automatic Defect Classification Project, focused on developing control software for 300 mm Defect Review tools in the semiconductor industry. Sunish made significant contributions in areas such as Auto Alignment, Auto Image Capture, and Auto Defect Classification.
In 2014, Sunish joined KLA-Tencor as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they played a crucial role in the development and enhancement of Semiconductor Wafer Inspection and Review tools, focusing on defect classification and wafer alignment accuracy. Sunish worked with prominent customers such as Intel, IBM, Global Foundry, and TSMC.
Since 2015, Sunish has been working at Kateeva, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and progressing to roles such as a Staff Software Engineer, Software Engineering Manager, Sr. Software Manager, and currently, Director of Software Engineering. Their expertise at Kateeva spans Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) projects, developing simulators, improving user controls, and fixing mission-critical bugs in software for Inkjet Printers and UV processing.
Throughout their career, Sunish Shingare has showcased strong technical skills, project management abilities, and the ability to contribute effectively in diverse domains such as display manufacturing, semiconductor, and aviation.
Sunish Shingare completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics from V.J.T.I. Mumbai, India. Sunish was enrolled in the program from 1993 to 1997.
