Damir Kurecic

Damir Kurecic has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Damir started their career in 1997 as a Sales Officer at Koncar-Niskonaponski aparati d.d. in Zlatar. Damir later became a Sales Area Specialist and eventually the Head of Sales Department. In 2001, Damir joined Metro Cash & Carry d.o.o. in Zagreb, where they held various roles, including Home Appliances Buyer and Project Manager - Purchasing. In 2004, they worked as a Sales Manager at M SAN Grupa d.d., a leading IT and Consumer Electronics distributor in Croatia. Damir then transitioned to the role of Supply Chain Manager at the same company in 2005. Here, they were responsible for coordinating and optimizing the supply chain, negotiating with suppliers, and designing software solutions. In 2012, Damir joined Kaufland Hrvatska k.d. as the Logistics Manager and later became the Head of Internal Audit and Customer Management. Damir also worked at Kaufland Stiftung & Co. KG in Germany as a Business Expert - Logistics Audit. Currently, Damir holds the position of Head of Corporate Security, Internal Audit and Customer Management at Kaufland Hrvatska k.d.

Damir Kurecic obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics - Foreign Trade from Sveuciliste u Zagrebu, where they studied from 1991 to 1996.
