Jani Toivonen

Jani Toivonen is an experienced quality engineer specializing in the management of tramway and metro track infrastructure, currently employed at Kaupunkiliikenne Oy since February 2012. Toivonen has held several positions including Chief Maintenance Engineer, overseeing a multi-professional team, and Track Engineer, focusing on tramway track maintenance planning. Earlier career experience includes roles as a project engineer and mechanical engineering trainee at Konecranes, as well as engineering and production roles at Vahterus and Helsinki City Transport. Toivonen holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Sustainable Production from LUT University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
