Anca Popescu

Anca Popescu is an experienced project engineer currently working at Kawasaki Robotics since September 2019, with a strong background in robotics software engineering and project management involving coordination across multiple departments and application of Earned Value Management techniques. Prior to this role, Anca served as a graduate student researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz, focusing on vibration analysis of aerostructures and gained extensive teaching experience as a teaching assistant. Additional experience includes internships and trainee positions at Applied Materials, CERN, Autoliv, Continental Automotive, Alcatel-Lucent, and Continental, where Anca honed skills in software development, control systems, and testing protocols. Anca holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering with an emphasis on Robotics and Control from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor's degree in Automation and Computer Engineering from Universitatea Politehnica din Timişoara, along with studies in Applied Informatics and Mathematics at Toulouse INP.
