Marc Mertz

Marc Mertz is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, and operational leadership. Currently serving as the VP and Chief Strategy Officer at Kaweah Health since July 2018, Mertz oversees multiple areas including marketing, physician relations, and community engagement within a 639-bed independent health system. Prior to this role, Mertz held executive positions at GE Healthcare Partners as Vice President and Physician Services Practice Leader, at Med-Track as Owner, and at Health Check Incorporated as President. Mertz's career in the healthcare consulting sector began at The Horizon Group, where responsibilities spanned a variety of consulting and operational roles. Mertz holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from James Madison University.
