Austin Lee

Austin Lee has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Austin is currently the CoFounder and CEO of KAYA Climb, a digital platform for the climbing market. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the COO of KAYA Climb. Before their involvement with KAYA Climb, Austin worked at Propeller Health as the Senior Manager of Data Science Products, where they managed the data pipeline, platform, and related processes and tools. Austin also worked as a Data Science Manager at Propeller Health. At Whalr, Austin was the Head of Data, responsible for building and leading the data science team. Austin designed and deployed the Whalr Predictive Engine, which identified potential customers based on their in-product behavior. Austin also gained experience as a Product Analyst at The RealReal, where they provided data analysis and built statistical models to support the product team. In addition, Austin has a background in athletics as a Sponsored Athlete for Black Diamond Equipment, specializing in rock climbing. Austin has competed at a national level and achieved notable accomplishments in the sport.

Austin Lee began their education at Lone Peak High School, where they attended from 2005 to 2007. Upon completing their high school education, Austin pursued a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Utah, specializing in Physics and Economics. Austin studied there from 2011 to 2014. After obtaining their bachelor's degree, Austin went on to pursue a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at the University of California, Berkeley. Austin completed their master's degree program in 2015.
