Ray Alimurung

Ray Alimurung is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at Philippine Seven Corporation, PayMongo, and STI Education Systems Holdings, Ray also holds the position of Partner at Kaya Founders, leading investments in early-stage startups within the Philippines. Previously, Ray was the CEO and Chairman for Lazada Philippines, where strategic direction was set and a large team was managed across multiple functions. Additionally, experience includes serving as an Angel Investor focused on Southeast Asian tech startups and holding roles as a Venture Fellow at Insignia Ventures Partners and Entrepreneur in Residence at Asia Partners. Educational credentials include an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Ateneo de Manila University, and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of the Philippines.
