Kourtney Harrison has extensive work experience in various roles within the education sector. Kourtney started their career in 2012 as an Administrative Assistant at AdCare Hospital. In 2013, they joined AmeriCorps as a Dudley Promise Corps Member. Kourtney then worked as a Teacher Resident at Boston Teacher Residency from 2014 to 2015, where they co-taught in K1/K2 and 2nd grade classes while completing graduate coursework.

In 2015, Kourtney joined Boston Public Schools, where they held multiple positions. Kourtney started as a Kindergarten Inclusion Teacher and served in this role until 2020. During their time at Boston Public Schools, Kourtney also worked as a Transformation Planning Team Member, an Instructional Leadership Team Member, a Team Leader and Learning Facilitator, and a Recruitment Fellow.

In 2018, Kourtney joined Teach Plus as a Commonwealth Policy Fellow. Kourtney held this position until 2019. Most recently, Kourtney is working as a Customer Success Manager at Kaymbu, starting in September 2020.

Kourtney Harrison completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2012. Kourtney then pursued a Master's degree in Education at UMass Boston from 2014 to 2015.
