Daniel Smart

Daniel Smart has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Daniel started their career at Sidhe Interactive in 2001 as a Programmer and later transitioned into a Level Designer role. Daniel worked there until 2009. Then, they joined PikPok as a Level Designer and Game Designer, where they stayed until 2014. As a Game Designer at PikPok, they worked again from 2017 until 2021. Daniel also ventured into the music industry, working as a Musician for Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. and Celebrity Cruises, Inc. from 2014 to 2016. Daniel then joined Jam City as a Senior Game Designer in 2021 before moving on to their current role as a Senior Game Designer at Kazoo Games in 2023.

Daniel Smart attended Victoria University of Wellington from 1996 to 2002. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, from 1996 to 2001, they pursued a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Theory and Composition at the same university.
