Mark E. Thielmann

Mark leads KB Financial’s Corporate Advisory Group focusing on direct investment, debt and equity financing, merger and acquisition services, capital structure development and strategic advisory for the firm’s clients.

For over 15 years, Mark has worked as an independent sponsor in consumer products, healthcare, and aviation and logistics. As an investor, director and executive of portfolio companies, he has developed an appreciation of these multiple perspectives and leverages his experience by partnering and collaborating with clients, their investors and their executive teams to drive results and returns. Mark’s experience includes over $450 million of debt and equity financings, including traditional and complex capital structures for public and private enterprises. His relationships include traditional private equity firms, commercial banks and business development corporations.

Mark received his MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and undergraduate degree from Franklin and Marshall College. Mark supports the Franklin and Marshall community and was a founding member of a non-profit foundation supporting brain tumor research.
