Brian McKenna began their work experience in 1998 as a Customer Advisor at Ulster Bank, where they managed a team and exceeded sales targets. Brian then moved on to become a Business Executive, responsible for loan applications and customer relationships. McKenna later became a Commercial Officer, managing lending reports and new business development. In 2013, they became a Lending Manager, overseeing the new business lending team. McKenna joined KBC Bank Ireland in 2016 as a Risk & Capital Data Analyst before being promoted to Head of Data Quality. In this role, they led a team in delivering regulatory projects, identified process improvements, and provided insight on best practices in Data Governance. Brian also achieved a First Class Honours in a Level 8 Higher Diploma in Data Analytics from Dublin Business School.

Brian McKenna attended Castleknock College from 1991 to 1997. In 2015, they received a qualification as a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) from the Institute of Banking. Additionally, in 2015-2016, they attended Dublin Business School and obtained a Higher Diploma In Science in Data Analytics, specializing in computer science. In terms of additional certifications, they received accreditation in Agricultural Lending and Lending from The Institute of Banking. Brian also obtained a Diploma in Microsoft Excel from The CPD Certification Service, completed a course on Business Analytics using SAS at Udemy, and acquired the MTA: Database Administration Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. Additionally, they obtained the PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner certification from PRINCE2.com.
