Paul Tyrrell has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Paul started their career as a Credit Controller at GE Capital in 1996. From there, they took on various roles within GE Capital, including Business Analyst, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Project Manager. In 2008, Paul joined Irish Life as a Programme Manager, focusing on Operational Excellence. Paul then moved to Permanent TSB in 2012, where they held roles as Strategy and Planning Programme Manager and Head of Customer Experience. Currently, Paul is working at KBC Bank Ireland, where they have held positions such as Head of Process Management, Head of Strategic Acceleration and Organisation, and currently serves as the Head of Operational Excellence.
Paul Tyrrell holds an MA in International Relations from Durham University and a BA (hons) in History from Trinity College Dublin. In 2016, they pursued Executive Education at the Royal College of Art, focusing on Design Thinking and Innovation. Additionally, Paul has obtained several certifications including Certified Customer Experience Professional from the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) in 2016, Lean Leader from GE in 2005, and Six Sigma Master Black Belt from GE in 2004.
