Robert Dusenberry, PE has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and industries. Robert started their career as a Surveying Intern at VJ Engineering in 2012. In 2013, they worked as an Engineering Intern at the City of Cedar Falls. In 2014, they joined MODUS-ENG as an Engineering Intern, where they gained experience in designing mechanical and electrical systems for various types of buildings. In 2015, they became a Peer Mentor at Iowa State University, where they mentored incoming freshmen construction engineers and assisted with class scheduling and organization. Also in 2015, they joined DLR Group as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. At DLR Group, they had multiple roles, including Mechanical Designer and Mechanical Engineer, where they contributed to the firm's mission of sustainable design and elevated human experiences. Robert remained at DLR Group until 2022 when they joined KCL Engineering as a Mechanical Engineer.

Robert Dusenberry, PE attended Iowa State University from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Engineering. In May 2016, they acquired the certification of Fundamentals of Engineering from the Iowa Professional Licensing Bureau. Later, in July 2020, they obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Iowa Engineering and Land Surveying Examining Board.
