Mohammadreza Hemmati

Mohammadreza Hemmati is an Ocean Economy Praktikant at KDM/Konsortium Deutsche Meeresforschung, focusing on the blue economy and EU policy development. Currently pursuing a Master's degree at Kiel University, Mohammadreza's research includes socio-ecological systems and sustainable fisheries management under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Monk at GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum. Previous experiences include contributions as a Biologist in Residence at GREENFISH AG, involvement in seaweed biology and aquaculture at oceanBASIS GmbH, and engagement in venture capital and biotechnology through roles at Bonda Group and BondaLab. Educational credentials span multiple institutions, including a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Shahid Beheshti University and an Advanced Certificate in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
