Adam Centner works with individuals, families, closely held businesses, and charitable organizations on estate planning, tax, real estate, and nonprofit matters.
Adam counsels individuals and families on matters relating to estate planning and wealth transfer, asset protection, income and estate tax planning, probate avoidance, and business succession. His clients primarily include physicians, dentists, business owners and executives, and other professionals. He also works on sophisticated residential real estate matters, including entity formation and lease preparation.
Adam assists nonprofit organizations in formation, tax-exemption, and administrative matters. He has formed and successfully obtained tax exemption for a variety of public charities and private foundations, including new churches. He also assists charitable organizations with the release or modification of gift restrictions, allowing the organization to benefit from otherwise unavailable funds, as well as the negotiation and preparation of gift agreements on behalf of donors and donees.
Adam prides himself on being responsive and developing practical, individualized strategies for each and every client. He understands that complex dynamics are often at play in estate planning, business, and nonprofit matters and he has significant experience guiding clients through the process.
In addition to estate planning and nonprofit matters, Adam also advises clients on related transactional matters, including the creation and administration of for-profit entities, real estate purchases, intra-family loans, and general corporate and contract matters.
