Khaled al-Gumaei

Khaled Al-Gumaei is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in big data architecture and database administration. Currently serving as a Senior Big Data Architect at KEB Automation since July 2021, Khaled previously worked as a Research Engineer in Big Data Platforms at Fraunhofer IOSB-INA from January 2018 to June 2021. Prior roles include Research Assistant at GWDG from August 2014 to November 2016, where Khaled contributed to benchmarking and the development of a metadata quality assurance framework. From April 2007 to January 2013, Khaled was an IT Instructor at Sana'a Community College, teaching various IT courses and supervising student projects. Khaled also worked as a Database Administrator and Support Coordinator for the PISCES project at Griffin Group - IMTAC Yemen Ltd. from November 2002 to January 2007, focusing on database management and system configuration. Khaled holds a Master of Applied Computer Science degree from The University of Göttingen and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from the University of Mosul.
