Ray Carey

Ray Carey is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, particularly in technology and investment. Currently serving as the Head of NextLevel Operations at Level Equity since November 2023, Ray focuses on driving growth for rapidly expanding software and technology-driven businesses. As a Board Member for Eftsure and Kelly's Roast Beef, Ray contributes to enhancing business payment security and maintaining the legacy of a family-owned restaurant, respectively. Ray has held prominent positions, including President of CivicPlus' Compliance Solutions, CEO of Optimere (formerly ArchiveSocial), and CEO of NeoNova Network Services, where substantial organizational growth and successful acquisitions were achieved. A Venture Partner and General Partner at Azure Capital Partners from 2001 to 2016, Ray has been involved in strategic financial advisory roles at Credit Suisse First Boston and held earlier positions at Robertson Stephens and Nike, where Ray notably represented the United States in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Ray holds a BA/MA in Organizational Behavior from Stanford University.
