Bill Nichols

Bill Nichols is an accomplished IT and project management professional with extensive experience in directing operations and managing program portfolios across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of IT Operations and Program & Project Delivery at Kemper since February 2020, Bill has focused on continuous improvement and aligning strategic goals with operational excellence. Prior roles include IT Program Manager at Southeastern Grocers, where oversight of the Retail Systems Program Portfolio was a key responsibility, and multiple senior project management positions at Citi Group, where Bill led initiatives in global enterprise services, business performance planning, and consumer group operations. Bill's career also includes roles at Unicorp Technologies LLC, GE Capital IT Solutions, CSX Technology, and service as an Operator Instructor in the US Navy. Bill holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Columbia College.
