Donna Charlevoix

Donna Charlevoix serves as the Vice President of Engagement at EarthScope Consortium since January 2023. With extensive experience in education and communication, Donna has authored "Severe and Hazardous Weather" for Kendall Hunt Publishing Company since January 2002. Prior roles include Director of Education and Community Engagement and Managing Director of Communications at UNAVCO from July 2012 to December 2022, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2010 to January 2018. Donna also directed science and education for The GLOBE Program from February 2009 to July 2012 and served as Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1997 to 2009, along with instructing at San Francisco State University for the 1996-1997 period. Donna holds an MS in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of California, Davis, a PhD in Science Education/Secondary Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BS in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
