Emelie Mahler is the head of the Regulatory Team at KENDRIS. She specialises in tax transparency matters, most notably the automatic exchange of information under CRS, FATCA and MDR/DAC6, but also advises on other related topics such as beneficial ownership registers. She joined KENDRIS in 2013 and has a professional background in the field of Swedish international tax advisory services.

Sacha Verwaaijen brings 25 years of IT expertise and extensive project management skills to the table. He has had the opportunity to lead several IT teams and successfully build and administer an Application Competence Centre. As the person responsible for IT services at KENDRIS, he aims to improve the customer experience and service quality, develop adequate solutions and add value to the business through technology. Based on ITIL processes, his focus is on the coordination of the service delivery with external providers and the controlling of the service management.

Bryan Graf is a senior executive with multi-faceted experience across industrial tech, digital marketing, luxury goods, and financial services. He serves as Head of Marketing for the group incl. subsidiaries and reports to the CEO / Executive Committee. Further functions include leading the Market Growth Switzerland organization as well as being a member of the International Markets Management Committee.

Mara Melappioni holds a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Rome, Italy. She specialises in advising foreign high-net-worth individuals on wealth structuring and cross-border estate planning. With more than 15 years of experience in the fiduciary business, Mara Melappioni has in-depth knowledge of international trust as well as corporate administration. She is a fully accredited TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner).

Fabian Lüscher is a Swiss-certified tax expert and fiduciary. He has been working for KENDRIS since 2014. Prior to that, he worked for a tax authority in the canton of Aargau for several years. This ensures comprehensive tax consultancy for companies and entrepreneurs.

Drawing on her deep understanding of clients' needs and knowledge in tax and regulatory matters, Erika applies a problem-solving approach in a dynamic, highly pressurized and constantly evolving environment. She enjoys partnering with peers and advisors to provide first-rate services focused on cross-generational transition, governance and global wealth protection. She particularly enjoys dealing with art, real estate and private equity investments. Erika is a fully accredited TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner).

Andrea Widmer completed her commercial apprenticeship in a fiduciary office, where she learned the craft of being a fiduciary. For the next few years she worked as a sole accountant in the construction and real estate industry and was able to develop into a complete financier. During this time, she obtained her diploma in finance and accounting with a federal certificate. For three years, she worked in the auditing department at PwC, where she learned about different types of accounting. She enjoyed the client contact and was able to use her analytical and entrepreneurial skills well. After this time, she was responsible for the finance and accounting of a listed company in investment construction. After starting her family, she set up her own fiduciary company. She assisted SME's in various industries, non-profit organisations, individuals and legal entities. For her, being a fiduciary means passion and joy in this profession. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Raiffeisenbank Villmergen (Audit Committee) since 2015.

Jens Thäter has been working in the financial sector for over 10 years. After working in risk management for an insurance company and in fund reporting for an internationally active asset manager, he is now mainly active in the area of investment reporting and other reports for clients and internal departments at KENDRIS. In addition, he is the internal and external contact person for topics relating to the automatic transaction interface, which helps customers to have their accounting done in a time- and cost-optimised manner.

Josua Buser has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services sector. He specialises in accounting for national and international companies, trusts and foundations. During his previous employment with a well-known Swiss fund administrator, he gained in-depth knowledge in fund accounting as well as corporate actions and market data.

Albert Klöti has been with KENDRIS since 2007. He originally started his career with KPMG in 1984. Albert Klöti has significant experience in Swiss and international corporate tax planning, financial restructuring and optimisation of group structures. Isabelle Steiger is an attorney-at-law in the Legal Advisory Team. She holds a Master of Law from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and an LL.M. from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Isabelle Steiger specialises in corporate and commercial law, where she advises Swiss and international clients on the establishment, reorganisation and liquidation of Swiss companies and provides guidance in various related areas. Another focus of her practice is general contract law, and she has vast experience in employment law and international relocation cases.

Marios Souroullas was one of the first employees to join KENDRIS Cyprus in November 2017. His involvement and contribution were instrumental in the set-up of a fully-fledged office in Larnaca, as well as in the successful granting of an "Administrative Service Provider" licence by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission in 2018.
Marios Souroullas studied Accounting and Finance at the University of Manchester and has been an Associate Chartered Accountant since 2013. Prior to joining KENDRIS, Marios Souroullas rose through the ranks at KPMG Cyprus from Audit Junior to Assistant Audit Manager. In 2015, he joined KPMG UK in London where he worked as an Assistant Audit Manager in the Private Equity Funds department, further expanding his international knowledge and professional experience.

Anna Szkudlarek currently leads the product development at [KENDRIS](/org/kendris). She takes products from early stage to MVP validation and eventually executes a go-to-market strategy for successfully validated products whilst ensuring the alignment of digital business development strategy and efforts across the different service lines to lead [KENDRIS](/org/kendris) through digital transformation.

In addition, Anna Szkudlarek has extensive experience in client advisory services with a focus on regulatory disclosure requirements. By combining her chartered accounting qualifications with her strong technical background, she builds long-standing relationships and provides comprehensive regulatory services such as DAC6, MDR, FATCA and CRS to family offices, service providers and internationally mobile Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) from around the world. Anna Szkudlarek is a RegTech expert with a proven track record of the successful implementation of a technology project to include data integration across various service lines and systems at [KENDRIS](/org/kendris).

Marcel Minger advises high net worth individuals and families around the world on their international succession planning by structuring their private, family and business wealth into complex tax efficient and sustainable trust and corporate structures. Together with his team, he specialises in the management and administration of offshore trust holding companies and has in-depth knowledge of UK tax and real estate matters. Marcel Minger serves as a board member, protector or trustee for international business and investment holding structures. 

He loves advising clients, finding the right solutions to meet their needs and helping them manage, consolidate, protect and pass on their assets to the next generation in the most efficient way.

After moving to Switzerland from South Africa in the late 1990s and before joining [KENDRIS](/org/kendris) in January 2016, Marcel had worked for a number of large Swiss bank owned trust companies operating in the Asian and Sub-Saharan African Diaspora markets, where he accumulated over 15 years of experience and built strong relationships with numerous well-known families.

Cecilia Stenberg is a Swiss Certified Tax Expert and holds a Master's degree in Law. She has over 10 years of experience in all tax matters in the field of private individuals, both in the national and international environment. Her focus is on residence planning and relocations, structuring of private wealth, social security and inheritance and gift tax. Cecilia Stenberg regularly speaks on various tax topics in the area of taxation of private individuals and is a lecturer at the EXPERTsuisse master study course "Swiss Certified Tax Expert".

Ilona Tschuor has been responsible for managing the front/back office at KENDRIS in Aarau since June 2014. Her tasks also include supporting the Head Corporate Clients in the implementation and further development of the business client segment. As a project manager, she is also entrusted with various projects within the scope of the digital transformation in the area of finance (ERP) and the business client segment, and in this role she also acts as an interface to the IT department and external providers. Ilona Tschuor holds a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) in project management.

As assistant to the site manager of KENDRIS Aarau, she is familiar with all facility management tasks.

Katja Baraldo specialises in complex funds accounting and has more than 9 years of professional experience in the financial sector. In addition to funds accounting, her core competencies include managing the accounts of national and international foundations, companies and trusts. Before Katja Baraldo joined KENDRIS in 2015, she worked in a Swiss fiduciary office as an accountant for smaller companies in various industries. At KENDRIS, she deepened her expertise in the field of securities accounting.

Eliana began her career working at a Big 4 auditing firm in Cyprus while studying to obtain her ACCA qualification. After 14 years of working as an audit manager for a wide spectrum of businesses, she moved on to work for several years at a law firm as head of the accounting department. She joined KENDRIS Cyprus in October 2018 in the Private Clients team. She currently manages a growing team in accounting, securities accounting and investment reporting for structures that include companies, foundations and trusts, in accordance with IFRS and other GAAP.

Sandra Boss has more than 10 years’ experience in the financial services sector. She specialises in the incorporation and management of Swiss and international holding, trading and management companies embedded in complex corporate or fiduciary structures in Switzerland and abroad. 

She also has extensive experience in accounting and preparing annual financial statements for national and international companies, trusts and foundations.

Silva began her career working at a Big Four auditing firm in Cyprus while studying to obtain her ACCA qualification. She then moved on to work for several years at a family office in Cyprus owned by an ultra-high-net worth individual. Here she enhanced her hands-on experience and knowledge in succession planning, wealth management and structuring of the family's private wealth in a tax-efficient and sustainable manner. She joined the KENDRIS Cyprus Private Clients team in September 2019. Together with the team she supports international families and their corporate structures.

Rebekka Balsama has worked in the international fiduciary sector for more than 12 years and has in-depth knowledge and extensive experience relating to the management and administration of complex structures, as well as personally taking on executive functions for legal entities. She loves face-to-face client contact providing advice and support to an international clientèle to find the right individual solutions for needs and to help them manage, protect and pass on their assets to their heirs in a meaningful way. Since joining KENDRIS, Rebekka has mainly looked after Middle Eastern clients, whom she also regularly visits on site. She looks forward to continuing to take on exciting challenges to meet the needs of her clients.

Lara Bolliger is a Swiss certified fiduciary. She was part of the international KENDRIS fiduciary team from April 2016 to December 2018. She has worked for the national fiduciary team of KENDRIS since November 2019. She has broad experience in accounting and the fields of outsourcing payroll administration and financial bookkeeping for national and international clients.

Kristina Albisser-Trajkovic is a Swiss-certified tax expert and has been working for KENDRIS since 2020. Before this, she worked for over five years in the tax department of one of the Big 4 companies. Ms. Albisser-Trajkovic has assisted corporate clients from various sectors and supported natural persons in complex tax issues. She, therefore, has in-depth expertise in the fields of corporate taxation and restructuring, and in providing advice to private individuals. In her role as Senior Manager, she is able to provide optimum advice to both companies and private clients in national and international tax matters.

Irène Lüthy has years of experience in the area of financial reporting and its upstream and downstream processes. As an auditor, she has audited national and international SMEs and large listed companies and advised on accounting-related topics in the context of Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory projects.

As Head of Finance & Accounting, Irène Lüthy, together with the F&A team, is responsible for preparing the basis for the financial management decision-making of the KENDRIS Group and ensuring consistent processes and standards in financial reporting.

Miguel Good is a Solicitor of the Supreme Courts of England and Wales. Prior to joining [KENDRIS](/org/kendris), he was an associate at the London, Geneva and Zurich offices of Withers, dealing extensively in tax, succession and wealth planning with a UK focus. He went on to head the Wealth Planning division for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Rothschild Private Wealth. Miguel Good currently advises international families on matters of succession and wealth planning as well as family governance.

In his career of more than 25 years as a certified public accountant and licensed audit expert, Reto Stalder has specialised in holistic consulting for nationally and internationally active medium-sized companies. During this time, he has acquired extensive knowledge of accounting standards (Swiss Code of Obligations, Swiss GAAP FER and IFRS) and manages complex accounting and consulting projects within [KENDRIS](/org/kendris). He is also responsible for the execution of auditing engagements, which are performed through our network company - SRG Swiss Audit Corporation Ltd. His track record also includes the introduction of consolidation guidelines and reporting documents for group companies, the preparation of consolidated financial statements, the performance of company valuations and financial due diligence. The design and implementation of internal control systems, financial risk management processes and fixed asset registers round off his areas of experience.

Gordana Tisljar is an experienced and successful private client advisor specialising in the management of complex international structures for UHNWI, succession and estate planning as well as trustee and directorships with a strong focus on the Americas (LATAM, USA). With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Gordana Tisljar has a profound knowledge of international fiduciary and banking services and provides comprehensive wealth planning solutions for clients in an increasingly regulatory environment. She has an extensive network in the trust and banking industry and builds durable relationships with business partners and clients. At [KENDRIS](/org/kendris), Gordana Tisljar is co-responsible for the US market as well as for the set-up, administration and management of international structures and art administration structures for UHNW clients.

Marcel Hofer joined [KENDRIS](/org/kendris) in 2019. Prior to that, he had already worked at [KENDRIS](/org/kendris) from 2005 to 2014. In between those years, he worked with one of the Big Four firms where he was responsible for Swiss statutory accounting as part of an international tax compliance network. He specializes in translating accounting from a group standard to Swiss accounting standard and Swiss statutory financial statements.

He has in-depth experience in accounting, business consulting and outsourcing/centralisation of accounting, salary accounting and tax compliance. As a consultant, he focuses on the needs of his clients without losing sight of the big picture. He is passionate to work in interdisciplinary teams to find the best possible solutions for the many stakeholders involved in business, finance and accounting processes.

David was appointed as our in-house UK tax counsel in 2015 . He is a qualified chartered tax advisor, accountant and Trust and Estate Practitioner (STEP) and has specialised in private client tax advice and trust work for over 25 years. He spent 12 years living in the Channel Islands working as a client services director for the largest independent trust company in the Islands and then as a Tax Director with a ‘Big Four’ accountancy firm. David has significant experience in guiding trustees and individuals through the complex UK tax legislation. He also offers advice on how to make those structures more robust and tax efficient from a UK tax perspective, this is especially important following the introduction of automatic exchange of information under the Common Reporting Standard and with which he is very familiar.

Konrad Häuptli graduated from the University of Berne, is an attorney at law and admitted as a barrister in the Canton of Berne. He attended several international postgraduate studies in law and business administration, such as at the [Georgetown University](/org/georgetown-university) Washington DC. He joined [HSBC](/org/hsbc) in 2002 after working at [Swiss Re](/org/swiss-re) as in-house attorney at law and tax expert specialised in corporate and commercial law and tax matters for over 20 years. He was the CEO of [HSBC](/org/hsbc) Trust Companies in Switzerland from 2005 to 2012 and was also a member of the [HSBC](/org/hsbc) Global Wealth Solutions Executive Committee. Konrad Häuptli joined [KENDRIS](/org/kendris) in 2016 after his retirement from [HSBC](/org/hsbc) Private Bank SA. He is a member of mixed expert groups (AEoI, FATCA, QI) and represents the Swiss Association of Trust Companies in Berne, at the State Secretariat for International Financial Matters and at the Swiss Federal Tax Administration. Konrad Karl Häuptli has been managing the assets of families, has been involved in entrepreneurial activities, board assignments and private equity investments. He writes blogs and flashes on regulatory topics and is a frequent speaker with a large network in various industries and markets.

Kevin Dietiker, graduate fiduciary expert, MAS FH in fiduciary and management consulting, has been working for [KENDRIS](/org/kendris) since January 2009. Prior to that, he worked for KPMG AG for 8 years, including 5 years in tax consulting. Anne Perret holds a Master's degree in Swiss Law and an Executive Master's degree in Swiss and International Taxation. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of individual taxation, including private clients, expatriates and entrepreneurs in both the national and international environment. She also advises on international relocation with a focus on immigration, estate planning, the setting up of trusts, charitable foundations and associations. Furthermore, she supports companies in questions of employment regulations and social security matters.

He is an attorney-at-law, holds a doctoral degree in business law from the [University of St. Gallen](/org/university-of-st-gallen) and is an adjunct professor of private law and comparative private law at the [University of Zurich](/org/university-of-zurich). Prior to joining [KENDRIS](/org/kendris), Prof. Dr. Hans Rainer Künzle was Partner at KPMG Ltd. and Member of the Executive Board at KPMG private Ltd. His area of specialisation is national and international inheritance law, in particular the office as executor.

Adrian Escher is a Founding Partner of [KENDRIS](/org/kendris) AG and has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors in September 2018, after having served as the firm's Chief Executive Officer since 2010. Prior to [KENDRIS](/org/kendris), he was a Partner at [KPMG](/org/kpmg) Switzerland and a member of the Executive Committee of [KPMG](/org/kpmg) private, the private client arm of [KPMG](/org/kpmg) Switzerland. Adrian Escher is a highly experienced executive with client, market and general management responsibilities that he has expanded over more than three decades. He has successfully developed several key markets of [KENDRIS](/org/kendris) and advises entrepreneurs, private clients, families and family offices. Jessica Schädler is a Director at [KENDRIS](/org/kendris), where they advise international wealthy families, their businesses and wealth holding structures in highly taxed and regulated jurisdictions with complex multi-jurisdictional tax and legal aspects. Jessica also provides advisory services on international regulatory matters (e.g. CRS, beneficial ownership registers) and economic substance requirements. Additionally, Jessica provides board member and trustee services for international business and investment holding structures, and is responsible for setting up and managing international trust, fund and corporate structures. Prior to their current role, Jessica was an Associate Director at Reyl Prime Solutions, where they advised UHNWI and corporate clients on tax and legal matters, and was responsible for the management of a portfolio of international clients, including legal, tax and accounting/audit advice, operations and administration. Jessica has also worked as a Senior Consultant for IQ Solutions and as a Paralegal/Corporate Officer for BodmerFischer Lawyers. Jessica has a wealth of experience in advising international clients on tax and legal matters, and has proven herself to be an expert in the field of setting up and managing international trust, fund and corporate structures.

Dr. Oliver Mauss Fankhauser has a broad range of skills in his field: Over 25 years of experience in IT, from programming to IT architecture, extensive knowledge in quality and process management as well as industry knowledge in medicine, apparatus engineering, financial markets and professional services enable him to take a holistic perspective and develop adequate solutions. At [KENDRIS](/org/kendris), he is responsible for quality management, including compliance with ISO certification, and, in the role of Product Owner BITS (Business & IT Solutions), for the Accounting, HR and Marketing & Communications departments. Thomas Narbel is a private client advisor with more than 18 years of tax & legal experience. Olivier Weber is Partner, Head of Taxes and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of [KENDRIS](/org/kendris). He is an attorney-at-law and certified tax expert with a focus on national and international taxation, negotiations with tax authorities and appeal proceedings as well as corporate and individual succession planning. He also assists our clients with transactions and develops tax-optimised financing concepts and refinancings. Prior to joining [KENDRIS](/org/kendris), she was a team leader for 11 years at Credit Suisse Trust Ltd, where she was responsible for the Asian and African markets. At Treuco Ltd, she headed a team for 23 years and held the position of Partner for 13 of these years, focusing on the following areas: provision of advice and support to international clients (both private and corporate), establishment and administration of sophisticated trusts, foundations (both private and charitable) and companies, execution of challenging trade, finance and investment projects/structures and the personal assumption of executive functions for legal entities.

She has a broad and long-term experience in accounting in the area of Outsourcing of salary administration and financial accounting for national and international clients.

Fadi Kikano leads KENDRIS' business development activities in the Middle East and manages the subsidiary in the Dubai International Financial Centre, KENDRIS Corporate Services (DIFC) Ltd. 

He has been active in the Middle East private wealth industry for 13 years in client advisory and relationship management functions with market leading firms in Switzerland and the UAE. Fadi Kikano has extensive experience and diverse capabilities in guiding high net worth individuals and families in the strategic planning and implementation of succession and asset protection structures as well as in investment reporting and best practice in wealth management.

Birgit Gudat has extensive expertise as an art historian and in the field of collection management, auction business and museums. She worked for renowned museums, auction houses and private collections for more than 20 years and has thus created an international and active network in the art world. At KENDRIS, she heads the Art Management department. This department manages international and national art collections in all their aspects, including acquisitions and sales, inventory, valuation, research, curatorial services, logistics as well as structuring, financing and escrow services. Together with the experts from the legal and tax team, she constitutes a committee that reviews and assists all art transactions at KENDRIS.

Pemra Hazbay is an attorney at law and a member of the New York and Istanbul bars. Before joining KENDRIS, she was with a top-tier law firm in Turkey, assisting international and Turkish clients. Her areas of specialty included corporate law and mergers and acquisitions with a focus on regulated sectors such as energy, mining, pharmaceuticals and retail.

Verena Muringaseril is a Swiss Certified Tax Expert as well as a German Certified Tax Advisor and started her career in 2008 in the "Business Tax Advisory Services" line of one of the Big4 firms in Germany. In 2017, she relocated to Switzerland and has been part of the KENDRIS tax team since April 2019. Verena Muringaseril has acquired expertise in corporate taxation, reorganisation tax law and the handling of tax strategy projects over the past 12 years. Having assisted internationally operating companies across industries on cross-border topics, she has a broad knowledge of international tax law too.

Patrick Hüsler holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, is a full member of STEP, holds an IBFD APCIT certificate and has over 14 years of experience in the management of companies, foundations and trusts. At KENDRIS, Patrick focuses on institutional clients, international families and their structures. He specializes in the management and administration of Swiss and foreign companies as well as foundations and trusts holding financial assets. Patrick has previous experience working as a mandatsleiter treuhand and manager at [KENDRIS](/org/kendris) AG, Rödl & Partner AG, and BDO AG. Patrick also has experience working as a sachbearbeiter treuhand at Acribia AG. Patrick began their career as a lehrling at LIGUSTER Treuhand- und Verwaltungs-AG in 2006.

Olga Sokolova holds an LL.M. in International Taxation and is a STEP, full member. Olga Sokolova specializes in advising HNWIs on their wealth structuring and cross-border estate planning. She is a successful private client consultant with a focus on trust and corporate administration and advises clients on Russian tax and legal matters, drawing on more than ten years of experience. At KENDRIS, Olga leads a team dedicated to Russian and CIS clients.

Ursula Heri joined KENDRIS in May 2015. Her current role is Head of Salary Administration and Payroll within the Business Advisory & Outsourcing Services department. Since October 2020, she has also been the Office Manager of Kendris Zurich. Ursula Heri is a certified Swiss social insurance expert and holds a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) in Payroll Expert. She has extensive experience in the fields of payroll administration, social security advisory and HR administration in a national and international environment.

Mirco Gaebelein has over 20 years of experience in the securities field, whether as a consultant for private clients or as an accountant. During his positions in the asset management departments of well-known international banks, he has acquired profound knowledge, especially in the area of corporate actions and derivative products. Sara Gunnervik has been active in company law and corporate governance in Cyprus since 2003. Over the years, she has worked for various law firms as well as corporate service providers. Sara Gunnervik has many years of experience in leading and guiding various kinds of cross-border transactions such as corporate reorganisations and restructurings as well as international financings. Sara Gunnervik was Head of Legal for two international service providers in Cyprus for a decade. She was then Director of Client Services at TMF Administrative Services in Cyprus before joining and forming KENDRIS (Cyprus) Limited which she now manages. She has strong practical experience and a focus on business practices, needs and commerce.
