Joan Carney has extensive experience in the field of special education and neurorehabilitation, currently serving as the Director of Fairmount Rehabilitation Programs at Kennedy Krieger Institute since October 1986. In this role, Joan Carney directs pediatric neurorehabilitation programs that specialize in brain injury, cerebral palsy, and various acquired and developmental disabilities, emphasizing school and community re-entry.
