Rebecca Landa has extensive experience in the field of communication sciences and disorders, serving as the Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Autism Services, Science and Innovation at the Kennedy Krieger Institute since 1995, where Rebecca also holds the position of Vice President. In conjunction with this role, Landa has been a dedicated academic at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, progressing from Associate Professor to Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences since 1995. Landa earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington (1981-1985), a Master of Science (M.S.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University (1977-1979), and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Towson University (1973-1977).
