James Tongate

James Tongate serves as the National Guard Region III Chair for the National Guard Enlisted Advisory Council, providing strategic recommendations and guidance to enhance policies affecting joint force operations. With extensive experience in military leadership, including positions as State Command Senior Enlisted Leader for the Kentucky National Guard and Chief Master Sergeant of the 123rd Airlift Wing, James Tongate has a robust background in advising on mission readiness and personnel management. Additionally, as Vice President of Government & Military Relations at BeneLynk, James Tongate leverages strong relationships with key government agencies to advocate for business objectives. James Tongate's commitment to veteran affairs is demonstrated through roles on advisory boards, including the Kentucky Center for Veterans Studies and Civilian Ready Foundation, Inc., focusing on transitioning service members and military families. Educational achievements include attendance at multiple leadership academies and an Associate's Degree in Aviation Operations from the Community College of the Air Force.
