Anurag Nandi has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Anurag is currently working at Kepler Communications Inc. as a Lead GNC Engineer. Prior to this, Anurag worked at Spire as a Lead Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer, where they conducted an analysis to determine the root cause of a residual dipole measured on-orbit and developed a ground testing framework for measuring the dipole on the ground. Anurag also led the effort to size and test magnetorquers to compensate for the dipole. Before Spire, they worked as a Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer, creating and implementing flight software for nanosatellites, maintaining a high fidelity simulation framework, and developing and implementing control modes according to ESA standards. Anurag also has experience at Axelspace Corporation, where they worked as an Attitude Determination and Control System Engineer, developing flight software for microsatellites and creating a simulation framework for hardware and software in the loop simulations. Additionally, they worked at Purdue University as a Deputy Project Manager, a Project Manager, and a Teaching Assistant, gaining experience in mission design, systems analysis, and teaching aerospace systems design. Anurag also worked as a Tutor for student athletes, providing academic support in various subjects.
Anurag Nandi completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University from 2009 to 2013. Anurag then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in the same field of study at Purdue University from 2013 to 2015. Following that, they enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at Purdue University from 2015 to 2016, where they were a PhD candidate.
