Arun Kumar has a long and varied work experience. In 1989, they began their career at CSK Software as a Product Manager and Project Manager, completing systems integration and custom development projects in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, and Buenos Aires. Arun then moved to Morgan Stanley in 1995 as Vice President of E-Business Strategy. In 1999, they were the Executive Vice President at Jiway, and in 2000, they joined the Board of Directors at Polopoly AB. In 2002, they founded Kerika, an innovative task management software, and was featured twice as an Apple Staff Pick. In 2006, they became a Consultant at Microsoft, where they created a product roadmap and portfolio view of over 50 existing systems and tools. Arun then moved to Onvia in 2007 as Director of Program Management, where they rebuilt the PMO, Sustained Engineering, and QA teams, and implemented Agile/Scrum across all IT teams. Finally, they returned to Kerika in 2010, where they currently serve as CEO. Kerika has 5-star reviews on the Chrome Web Store and the Google Apps Marketplace, and is used in every industry and continent.
Arun Kumar attended The Doon School, where they obtained an Indian School Certificate. Arun then attended the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, where they studied Physics. After that, they attended Washington State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Administration.
