Currently serving as Assistant to the Director and Administrative Coordinator at the Kern County Public Health Services Department since August 2019, Carly previously worked as a Property Manager at Royal T Management and as an Auto Claims Adjuster at Capital Insurance Group. Carly’s career began at Smart & Final, where duties varied from Service Manager to Sales Associate Cashier over a span of twelve years, showcasing strong leadership, customer service, and inventory management skills. Educationally, Carly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Ashford University, supplemented by studies at Bakersfield College and California State University, Bakersfield.

The Kern County Public Health Services Department is the local governmental agency charged with the protection and promotion of the public’s health. Our mission is “To protect and safeguard the health and safety of the community.” The Kern County Department of Public Health operates public health programs and enforces laws relating to public health, as prescribed in the State Health and Safety Code and the Kern County Ordinance Code. There are three departmental divisions, Emergency Medical Services, Environmental Health Services and Public Health Services.
