Ben Rutherford

Ben Rutherford, MPA, PMP, currently serves as Project Manager II at Kern Health Systems since January 2022. Previously, Ben held multiple roles within Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services from October 2015 to January 2022, including Behavioral Health Program Supervisor and Coordinator of Administrative and Legislative Analysis, where expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies led to significant process improvements and cost savings. Prior experience includes positions such as Departmental Analyst II at Kern County Department of Child Support Services and Research Assistant at Community Action Partnership of Kern. Ben holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Health Care Management from California State University, Bakersfield, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
