Jay Russak

Jay Russak, MBA, has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical operations and development. Jay is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Clinical Operations at Keros Therapeutics since May 2022. Jay is also an Adjunct Faculty at Northeastern University's MS program in Regulatory Affairs for Drugs, Biologics, & Medical Devices since April 2022.

Mr. Russak has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held positions at various companies. Notably, they worked at Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they served as the Director of Clinical Development from March 2020 to May 2022. Prior to that, they were a Clinical Team Lead at Dicerna Pharmaceuticals and Advanced Clinical in 2019.

Earlier in their career, Mr. Russak served as the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Finch Therapeutics Group from November 2018 to May 2019. Jay also worked at SAGE Therapeutics as the Sr. Manager of Clinical Operations & Development from October 2016 to August 2018.

Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Russak gained experience as an Emergency Medical Technician at the Flemington-Raritan First Aid and Rescue Squad since January 2000.

Additionally, Mr. Russak has had roles at Halloran Consulting Group as a Consultant II from January 2016 to August 2016, and at Biogen and Biogen Idec in various managerial positions. Jay served as a Sr. Manager at Biogen in Business Process and Process Management from March 2015 to November 2015.

Jay Russak, MBA obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completing the program from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts degree in Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine, specializing in that field from 2005 to 2008. Jay's undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Northeastern University, which they pursued from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Jay has obtained additional certifications. In January 2015, they achieved a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Recently, in December 2021, they obtained a certification in GCP for Clinical Trials with Investigational Drugs and Biologics (ICH Focus) from the CITI Program.
