Kent H.

Kent H. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kent started their career as a Systems Engineer at Dimension Data/SABMiller in 1999 and worked there until 2003. Kent then joined Dell as a Solutions Architect from 2008 to 2010. Kent H. later served as the Chief Technology Officer at Triple H, where they led the development of virtual datacenters and provided solutions for workload protection, disaster recovery, and cloud migration from 2012 to 2021. Subsequently, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Infinetix, focusing on designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions that integrated with public cloud platforms and ensured secure access to legacy and cloud applications. More recently, Kent H. held the position of vCTO/Solutions Architect at Numata Business IT before joining Kerridge Commercial Systems as the Head of Design Engineering in 2023.

Kent H. obtained their Matric degree from Glenvista High School in the years 1990 to 1995.

In 1997 to 1998, Kent attended Torque IT, where they earned an MCSE certification.

In 2018 to 2019, Kent studied at Stellenbosch Business School, completing the MBA Essentials program in Business.

In 2023, Kent enrolled in CTO Academy for the Digital MBA for CTOs and Tech Leader program.

In the same year, Kent also attended CTO Academy again, this time for a Business Tech course.

Kent has acquired several additional certifications including:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate from Microsoft in December 2022.

- Associate - Information Storage and Management Version 4.0 from Dell Technologies in January 2022.

- Specialist - Technology Architect, Midrange Storage Solutions Version 2.0 from Dell Technologies in January 2022.

- ZCP: Azure 8.0 from Zerto in August 2021.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in May 2021.

- VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization from VMware in January 2017.

- VMware Certified Associate 6 – Data Center Virtualization from VMware in 2016.

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in November 2021.
