Melissa Fairrel

Melissa Fairrel, CPA has a strong work experience as a finance and accounting professional. Melissa currently holds the position of Global Head of Reward at Kerridge Commercial Systems, where they manage global reward programs. Prior to this, they were the Head of Reward & Tax, North America at the same company.

Before joining Kerridge Commercial Systems, Melissa worked at Veristat as a Payroll Manager and Senior Staff Accountant. In this role, they streamlined and elevated the finance and accounting functions, including implementing payroll audits and introducing balance sheet reconciliations. Melissa also prepared and filed goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax returns for Canadian entities.

Earlier in their career, Melissa held positions at companies such as Daiei America, Inc as an Accountant, CompNation Computer Supply, LLC as a Controller, MyOfficeProducts, Inc as a Controller, and GETITQUICK.COM where they started as an Accounts Receivable Manager before being promoted to Controller. In these roles, they were responsible for managing various accounting and finance functions and played a key role in process improvements and system implementations.

Melissa Fairrel, CPA holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business from the University of Phoenix. Melissa also has an Associate in Applied Science (A.AS) degree in Accounting from Wake Technical Community College. Melissa further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Student Personnel Services from the University of South Carolina. Melissa completed their undergraduate studies at Berry College, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications and Business Administration. In addition to their educational qualifications, Melissa proudly holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, awarded by the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners in September 2004.
