Eddie Wong

Eddie Wong has a diverse work experience in technology and innovation roles. Eddie has worked for various companies including Kerry Properties Limited, Universal Beijing Resort, Shanghai Disney Resort, Galasys, IFCA MSC Bhd, and EASI (M) Sdn Bhd.

At Universal Beijing Resort, Eddie held the position of Senior Manager IT Application and Assistant Director, IT Application. Eddie led teams responsible for onsite and online sales systems, guest service, software development, and testing. Eddie also managed OPEX and CAPEX and developed process and analysis frameworks.

At Shanghai Disney Resort, Eddie served as Manager, Business Application, Technical Operations Manager, and Associate Business Application Manager. Their responsibilities included digitalization of ticketing and eCoupon, identifying opportunities for growth, product development, and improving the guest experience.

Prior to these roles, Eddie worked as a Solutions Manager at Galasys, where they managed requirements from global customers and translated them into user stories. Eddie also worked as a Product Consultant at IFCA MSC Bhd, where they designed, tested, and implemented POS systems, conducted pre-sales activities, and managed system change requests.

Before that, Eddie held the position of Product Manager at EASI (M) Sdn Bhd, where they implemented and supported POS systems for various industries. Eddie also provided pre-sales support, conducted business requirements study, and provided end-to-end solutions for customers.

Eddie Wong holds an MBA degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Anglia Ruskin University, which they completed between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a diploma in the same field from Spectrum College from 2014 to 2016. Eddie also attended Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, where they pursued studies in Physical Sciences, although the specific years of attendance are unknown. Additionally, Eddie has obtained several certifications including a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge from the Cloud Security Alliance in 2019, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 2018, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2020.
