Shane Hansen

Shane Hansen is an experienced executive in the coal industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Kestrel Coal Resources since May 2020. Prior to this role, Shane held the position of Director at S&M Hansen Investments from December 2019 to April 2020 and served as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager at Mitsui Coal Holdings from May 2013 to December 2019. Shane also worked as General Manager for Xstrata Coal in the Emerald Region from May 2010 to April 2013 and held a General Manager position at BHP from 2004 to 2009. Shane Hansen earned an MBA from CQUniversity between 1980 and 1983.
