David Spigarelli

David Spigarelli has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. David is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Kevala since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Expel, where they held the role of Manager, Analyst Experience Engineering from March 2020 to October 2021. David also served as a Principal Software Engineer at Expel from January 2017 to March 2020.

Before joining Expel, David worked at FireEye, Inc. as a Senior Staff Software Engineer from January 2014 to January 2017. At FireEye, David was involved in the development of the HX endpoint security product, specifically working on building the endpoint Triage Viewer and Data Acquisition UI.

David's earlier experience includes working at Mandiant, which was acquired by FireEye, Inc. There, they held the position of Principal Software Engineer from January 2013 to January 2014. During their time at Mandiant, they worked on projects such as IOC Central, a web app for security analysts, and IOC Factory, a client-side UI widget for managing versions of indicators of compromise.

Prior to Mandiant, David had several roles at Microsoft. David was a Senior Software Development Engineer from August 2011 to January 2013, contributing to projects such as the Seller Dashboard web app and the Microsoft Account for Organizations web app. David also worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer from November 2009 to August 2011, focusing on developing the checkout UI for Office 365. Before that, they served as a Software Development Engineer II from February 2009 to November 2009, working on partner quote generation UX for the Online Commerce Portal. David started their career at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, where they contributed to various projects related to Windows Core Security and Access Control from June 2004 to February 2009.

David's early experience includes internships at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer - Intern in 2003, Whizbang! Labs as a Software Engineer - Intern in 2001, and MyComputer.com as a Software Engineer - Intern in 2000.
