Alejandro Guerra Estrada has four years of work experience. From 2022 to present, they have been working as a Technical Operations Engineer at Keyrock. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Engineering Assistant / Research Assistant at Reservoir and Drilling Mud Laboratory, where they carried out conventional and special core analysis, took measurements of porosity, permeability and fluid saturation, plotted wettability curves, capillary pressure curves, and relative permeability curves, analyzed and interpreted data, lined up and handled flow lines, assembled and disassembled equipment, calibrated valves and pressure elements, read meters for interpretation of test conditions and made necessary adjustments, cleaned and kept equipment in working condition, replaced pipes and joints, operated injection fluid equipment and other injection systems for chemical, gas, and cement slurry, among others. Alejandro was also involved in featured projects such as the evaluation of formation damage generated by high-density mud filtrate, heavy cement slurry and light cement slurry, and evaluation of organic treatment to remove the damage, as well as the determination of the explosiveness degree of coal dust and quantification of methane in coal beds in the Sinifaná basin.

Alejandro Guerra Estrada obtained a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia between 2010 and 2015. Alejandro then pursued an Ingenieria Administrativa degree from the same university between 2017 and 2019. Additionally, they obtained the Operador Dividas AMV certification from Autorregulador del Mercado de Valores de Colombia - AMV in December 2021.
