Sheila Rager

Sheila Rager is an experienced cardiac perfusionist with a career spanning several decades in prominent healthcare institutions. Currently serving as a cardiac perfusionist at Keystone Perfusion Services, P.C. since September 2019 and as a perfusionist at Northwell Health since March 2016, Sheila has extensive expertise in cardiac procedures. Previous roles include cardiac perfusionist positions at The Valley Hospital from 2004 to September 2019 and at Saint Michael's Medical Center from 1989 to 2003, where Sheila held the additional responsibility of Chief Cardiac Perfusionist and Director of Perioperative Services. Sheila began their career as a cardiac perfusionist at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center from 1977 to 1989 and also served as a Coordinator and Critical Care Nurse. Sheila's educational background includes a perfusion degree from the NBIMC School of Perfusion, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Jersey City University, and an associate degree in nursing from Brookdale Community College.
