Currently serving as a Senior Correspondent at KFF Health News since January 2021, Levey previously worked for the Los Angeles Times from 2003 to 2021 as a national healthcare reporter, covering significant topics such as the Affordable Care Act and Medicare across numerous states. Earlier in the career, Levey held various reporting positions at the San Jose Mercury News from 1998 to 2003, focusing on congressional, political, and local government issues. Levey graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor's Degree in History and Near Eastern Studies.
