Samuel Whitehead

Samuel Whitehead is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in news reporting, production, and podcast hosting. Currently a Correspondent at KFF Health News since April 2022, Samuel previously worked as a Producer/Reporter/Host at Public Broadcasting Atlanta from September 2017 to March 2022, where responsibilities included pitching and producing stories, developing coverage plans, and managing the Political Breakfast podcast. Prior roles included reporting for Georgia Public Broadcasting, freelancing for WSKG Public Media, and working at WRFI Community Radio, where Samuel co-founded a local news program. Samuel also has a background in trust and safety from Airbnb and completed internships in production. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Emory University and an Associates Degree from Oxford College of Emory University.
