Kai Eberhard

Vice President - Aviation, Mobility & Transport at KfW IPEX-Bank

Kai Eberhard has a diverse work experience spanning over 27 years. Kai started their career in 1994 as a Banking Apprentice at Sparkasse zu Lübeck AG. In 2002, they joined KfW as a Graduate Trainee and went on to hold several roles, including Project Manager - Aviation and Senior Project Manager - Aviation. Kai worked at KfW until 2014, during which they also served as Vice President - Aviation. From 2014 to 2018, Kai Eberhard worked at KfW IPEX-Bank in various roles, including Vice President - Aviation, Rail & Vehicles Fleets. In 2018, they became Vice President - Aviation, Mobility & Transport at KfW IPEX-Bank. Throughout their career, Kai Eberhard specialized in aviation financing and aimed to invest in cleaner and smarter projects worldwide.

Kai Eberhard obtained a degree in Diplom Kaufmann with a specialization in Accounting and Controlling from Kiel University, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. In 1999, they also pursued studies in Accounting and Business/Management at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for a year. Additionally, in 2007 and 2008, Kai completed a certification program as a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) with a focus on Banking and Finance at the Deutsche Vereinigung für Wertpapier Analyse.
