Sebastian Wanke

Sebastian Wanke is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury management and economic analysis. Currently serving as Senior Manager in Treasury at KfW since October 2015, Wanke focuses on liquidity management and money and foreign exchange trading. Prior to this role, Wanke worked as a Principal Economist at KfW, concentrating on central bank observation and interest and exchange rate forecasting. Wanke's career also includes a position as Senior Analyst at sentix Asset Management GmbH, where the emphasis was on capital market and economic analyses with a behavioral finance focus, and as an Economist at DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale, where responsibilities included central bank observation and economic forecasts for the Eurozone. Wanke holds a doctorate in economics from Universität Passau and has furthered studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science with a focus on econometrics.
