Melissa Blanco

Melissa Blanco is a Teacher Development Specialist at Khan Lab School since July 2016. Melissa also serves as the K-12 Math Coordinator, Khan Academy Liaison, Math Specialist, and Lead Advisor. Prior to their current role, Melissa was a 5th Grade Math and Science Teacher at Hillsborough County Public Schools from February 2009 to June 2016. Additionally, Melissa worked as a K-5 Teacher of the Gifted and Talented, and a 2nd Grade Self-Contained Teacher. Melissa holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology from the University of Florida (2007-2008) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the same institution (2003-2007).
