Guillermo Moreno-Sanz

Guillermo Moreno-Sanz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Guillermo is currently serving as the Global Scientific Director for Khiron Life Sciences Corp. since November 2021, and prior to that, they held the position of Scientific and Medical Director, Europe for the same company from September 2020 to November 2021. Before joining Khiron Life Sciences Corp., Guillermo worked as the CSO for Abagune Research starting from January 2018. Guillermo also has experience working at UC Irvine, where they served as an Assistant Project Scientist from July 2015 to April 2017 and as an Assistant Specialist from September 2012 to June 2015. Prior to UC Irvine, Guillermo worked as a Junior Postdoc at IIT - Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia from September 2010 to September 2012. Guillermo also served as a Junior Specialist at UC Irvine from September 2008 to July 2010. Guillermo's work experience includes being a Fulbright scholar for Fulbright Commission Spain from 2008 to 2010. Guillermo started their career as a Research Assistant at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from September 2004 to July 2008.

Guillermo Moreno-Sanz started their education in 1996 at the Universidad de Zaragoza, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organic Chemistry in 2003. During their time at the Universidad de Zaragoza, they also pursued studies in Biochemistry and earned another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in that field from the same institution in 2002.

In 2002, Moreno-Sanz moved to Italy to work as a Research Fellow at the Università degli Studi di Firenze, specializing in Organic Chemistry. Guillermo remained there until 2004.

During the same year, they also worked as a Research Fellow in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Leiden University.

In 2004, Moreno-Sanz enrolled at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience in 2010.

From 2008 to 2017, they also attended UC Irvine, although the degree obtained and field of study pursued during this period is not specified.
