Gijs van de Nieuwegiessen

Gijs van de Nieuwegiessen has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Gijs is currently the VP of Automation at Khoros since January 2021. Prior to this, they were the Co-founder & CEO of Flow.ai from May 2016 to January 2021. Gijs also worked as a freelance UX Designer at eigengijs design from April 2016 to May 2017 and at Firm24 as a freelance UX Design from 2016 to January 2017. Gijs co-founded Applesapp in 2009 and served as a Co-founder until 2017. Additionally, Gijs worked as a Senior UX Designer at Interpolis from March 2015 to August 2016. At Achmea, they held multiple roles including Creative Lead from November 2014 to March 2015, UX Designer from January 2012 to November 2014, Webdesign and front-end development from June 2010 to January 2012, and Lead Creative from September 2008 to June 2010. Gijs co-founded Zoekned B.V. in 2005 and worked as a Co-founder until July 2013. Prior to that, they were involved in Microsoft consultancy and development at Sogeti from January 2007 to September 2008. Gijs also founded Nieco B.V. in 2000 and worked there until 2005.

Gijs van de Nieuwegiessen attended the Economisch Lyceum Eindhoven from 1996 to 2000, where they studied MEAO. Gijs then went on to study Digital Communications at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht), earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from 2000 to 2005.
