Lee Parker has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lee started their career as an Apprentice to the Network Administrator at Naval Research Laboratories in 1997. Lee then worked as a Linux Systems Administrator at Centenary College of Louisiana from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they served as an Academic Computing Administrator and Webmaster at Iliff School of Theology from 2001 to 2007. Lee then worked as a Lead Web Developer at Small World Labs from 2007 to 2008. Currently, they are employed at Khoros as a Principal Software Engineer since October 2018. Previously at Khoros, they held the positions of Principal Software Architect from August 2018 to February 2019, and Product Architect from November 2008 to August 2018.

Lee Parker earned a Bachelor's degree in Religion from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they pursued further studies at the Iliff School of Theology and obtained a Master of Divinity degree with a focus on Theology & Religion.
