Sarodge Dechgan has worked in the software engineering field since 1999. In that time, they have held various roles at multiple companies. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Staff Consultant at Optum Software, where they designed, developed, optimized, deployed, and supported MOVE using C, Java, JSP, HTML, and JavaScript/AJAX. Sarodge also designed and developed the conversion of WebShip from a ColdFusion Oracle-based Shipping/manifesting system to a database agnostic .NET Framework. From 2000 to 2005, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Click Commerce, where they designed and developed a database agnostic, J2EE application Server Agnostic, warehouse management system (WMX) using an Agile/XP software process model. From 2005 to 2009, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Servigistics, where they designed, developed, and implemented WMX and Service Logistics using an Agile/XP software process. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at PTC, where they were the lead architect for MOVE and WebShip, and was responsible for product roadmap and releases. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at Onica and NetBrains, Inc. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Solutions Architect and Senior Software Engineer at Rackspace Technology, and as a Senior Software Architect at Kibsi.
Sarodge Dechgan obtained a degree in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine between the years of 1996 and 2000. Sarodge then obtained a J2EE Certification in June of 2005. In 2018, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March, and an AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February.
