Elise McCave

Elise McCave is an experienced professional in the film and entertainment industry. Elise began their career in 2001 as an Assistant Stage Manager at Cape Cod Theatre Project. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Drama Teacher at Stagecoach Theatre Arts Ltd. In 2006, they transitioned to acting and worked as an Actor at Out of Cocoon Theatre Co. In 2007, they interned at PYMCA, a photo archive focusing on youth and music culture. Elise then joined DOC SOCIETY in 2008 as Deputy Director, where they provided support and funding to independent documentary filmmakers until 2016. From 2020 to 2023, they worked at Kickstarter in various roles, including Director of Narrative Film, Senior Director of Film, and Head of Film. In 2021, they served as a Consulting Producer at Cisco Kid. In 2022, they worked as a Producer for the Untitled Alix Blair Documentary project. Elise McCave's experience spans across different aspects of the film industry, from production to management and creative roles.

Elise McCave completed their education at UCL, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Anthropology. Following their time at UCL, they attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Acting.
