KID Museum
Our mission is to cultivate creativity, curiosity and compassion to build a better world. KID Museum is a new kind of museum serving children and families in the Washington, D.C. area. KID Museum offers unique, interactive experiences for elementary and middle school-aged children that integrate hands-on science, technology, engineering, art and math learning with an exploration of world cultures and global citizenship. KID Museum’s site at Davis Library in Bethesda, Maryland offers the community exciting programs and workshops. It is a first step toward the museum’s broader vision of a larger, permanent museum home in Montgomery County, focused on empowering the next generation to invent the future with imagination, resourcefulness, and compassion.
